Excellent do-it-all Axe from WOOX USA. This is a great Felling and limbing Axe, but its also controllable enough for more precise work and packs away well. It would be a great All purpose Woodland Axe.

 

28in is an excellent length, it gives you plenty of inertia and head speed for good deep cuts, yet is still short enough to be fairly portable and still very controllable.

Excellent quality 1060HC Steel this Head is made in italy and has the 'Phantom Bevels' that help prevent binding.

 

Quality Hickory handle for the Appalachian mountains and a nice leather head cover. Head weight is approx 2.5lbs and cutting edge is 4.5in.
