Barkriver Knives Golok2 in A2
Excellent quality and well designed cutting tool from Barkriver Knives, USA. The Golok2 is the latest Barkriver take on that general Pupose Indonesian tool, the Golok. A more compact tool that a Parang, the Golok is a heavy bladed cutter and Woods Tool.
The Barkriver version has a straightish blade with a Bull nose and heavy 12in cutting edge. The handle is excellently sculptured for grip in several different postions and the choil allows for even more control.
Full broad tang, and a stock thickness of almost 5mm, the Golok2 is strong and durable and the excellent Barkriver A2 Tool Steel (58HRC) gives excellent bite as well as edge holding and intergral strength.
